One of the top questions we get asked is how to successfully market your sex toy affiliate website and get higher ranking in Google. Although there are many ideas on this subject, one of the best ways is to use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies by building "organic" links to your site using "long tail" key words. This means we will help you develop a strategy to come up in the unpaid (organic) search result in Google, but we recommend you focus on several specific niche words like "warming sexual lotion" (long tail words) rather than the more popular more competitive words like "sex toys."

Here are step by step instructions for you to follow and make money:

1. Choose the keywords you want to focus on.

     • Regarding "warming sexual lotions" or "warming sexual lubricants" you could point to the Category: Lubricants > Warming & Tingling
       Or point to the Attribute: "warms" in Category: "Lubricants"
   • Check the popularity of your keywords against Google's key word analyzing page. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
   • Search on Google and check out your competition. Just put in your key words in google search and see who comes out first.
2. Go to MyFreeWebsite.com and sign up for a free account.
3. Buy a domain at GoDaddy.com that contains your keywords, i.e.; Warming-sexual-lubricants.com would be a great domain if those are your key words.
4. Sign up for Google Analytics and put your GA code into your Website by logging into myfreewebsite.com and go to "Advanced Settings" and then bottom of "Layout, Links and Tracking" tab.
5. Make your adult product store come up under your domain. Log onto MyFreeWebsite.com and click on the domain tab in basic customization. You can find instructions on placing your store under your domain in the FAQs under Resources.
6. Put a banner at the top of the page to match your domain by logging into MyFreeWebsite.com and then uploading under the first tab in "Basic Customization."

1. Build one custom page for each keyword phrase you want to use. Each of those pages should be linked to each other. Link to one or more of the custom pages from the top or bottom of each page in the sex toy site. You can do this under Basic Customization - Page header or Page footer, or add links to your Top Menu under Custom Content >> Custom Top Menu Bar.
2. Fill out the meta tags text for this page and choose a page name.

The goal of your custom page is to establish yourself as authority of information regarding these key words. So you are going to need to create some good information regarding those words. Do not create more than five outbound links from your page. Your goal is to get many links coming into your page with fewer going out. Make sure you include one link on the page to "buy (your keywords)." Link that to the category page selling those items. 1. This step is how you make money! Get keyword specific links from quality sites. You need to get links from sites that have a Google Pagerank of 3 or higher. If your key word is "warming sexual lotions" then the site you get a link from should use the key words "warming sexual lotions" as the words people click on to get to your page. Keep in mind, even if you do the right thing, it can take months before your page moves to the first page of Google.

   • To see the Pagerank of any page on the web, Search on Google for "Google toolbar" and install it on your browser.

Another feature you may want to consider is a forum regarding your topic. If you are in fact an authority, you may have traffic that wants to post comments about your key word topic.
