You do have the option of getting your own domain and loading your store under it if you wish. We recommend this option if you want to show up in search engines like Google. Alternately, you can sign up and use your unique affiliate code to promote our branded stores: Sextoy.com or Sextoyfun.com.
We pay our top affiliate over $50,000 per month! But most people who sign up never bring in even one sale. So it is entirely up to you how much you make based on how and where you market your site and how much time and work you put into it. Our default store is optimized for sales and conversions, so spending your time promoting your site is key.
Commission payments are paid after the 15th of each month, provided you make sales. Payment methods include ACH direct banking (recommended for US affiliates), PayPal (recommended for International affiliates) and by check.
ACH direct banking is free and usually takes 3 business days for your money to be deposited. Deposits are from Convergence. A $3.50 return fee will be charged to your commission balance for rejected payments due to an error in account or bank routing number.

The Affiliate Referral Program has been discontinued. We found that it took hundreds of sign-ups to get a very small amount of referral commissions.

No. We prefer you keep your Affiliate Codes under one account. However, you can create as many affiliate codes as you like to make separate stores. To do this go Manage Account >> Affiliate Codes and add your new codes.
Your store is like a giant marketplace with over 100,000 products at one online location, all coming from almost 100 different unique vendors, much like Amazon.com, the most successful shopping marketplace online in the world.
Like Amazon.com, we have multiple distributors so orders may ship separately depending on availability of items at a given distributor.
However, if the customer chooses products that can be shipped from the same vendor the cart will adjust the selection to ship from the same vendor, thus shipping items together at a cheaper cost than separately.
Our largest affiliates do very basic customizations to their sites including putting up a banner and using their own domain.
Our Sextoyfun default store is constantly updated with new information and optimized to maximize conversions. If you decide to build your own custom front page, it would be challenging to build one that converts as well as the default site.

To host your store under your domain name you need to change you're "A" record, by pointing your domain to this IP address 206.145.81.114. This is done where you buy your domain from. See 'What is the "A" Record' below for further directions.
You can also host your store under your sub-domain if you would like to have your site feature original content and have a store built in. You would follow the same steps as you would for a domain.
We do not support or recommend using iFrames or redirects.

What is the "A" Record and how to I redirect my site?
Most Domain Providers (the site where you bought your domain) have similar methods of changing "A" Records, although their interfaces may look different. Additionally, your Domain Provider should have FAQs and/or email support to assist you in changing your "A" Record. For our demonstration, we'll show you how to change your "A" Record on GoDaddy.com.
Log in to your Domain Provider (GoDaddy.com).
Choose My Products under the My Accounts TAB. This will open a page with your Domains on it.
Choose the Domain you want to use for your store. This will open a new window: your Domain Manager.
Look for DNS Manager and click the "launch" link. This will open your DNS settings and the place to change your A Record. You should see something like this:
Hover over the numbers and click. This will open up a space to change the number of the IP address.
Edit that number to 206.145.81.114. You can do this with cut & paste to ensure the number is correct.
Click outside the box to close it.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click SAVE ZONE FILE.
A Pop-up window will appear:
CONFIRM: You are about to modify your existing zone file. Are you sure you want to save your changes? Click: OK
A Confirmation Pop-up will appear:
ZONE FILE SAVED Your changes have been submitted. These changes usually take 1 hour. However, it may take up to 48 hours for these changes to take effect. These time frames are estimates and not guaranteed. Click: OK
If you have trouble changing you're a Record for your domain, there should be trouble shooting articles in the help section of your Domain Provider to show your how to do this, or you may need to contact your Domain Provider for help. Do not redirect your site. You need to change the A Record instead.
After you have changed your "A" Record at your Domain Provider, follow these instructions.
After you have re-directed your domain to 206.145.81.114, then log in to your Affiliate Control Panel : MyFreeWebsite.com.
Go to your Customization >> Your Domain Name and enter your domain in the field provided. Do not include the http:// only use: www.mydomain.com.
Next, under Customization >> Site Settings you will want to put your entire URL including http:// in the Custom Home URL.
This will allow your domain to appear at the top of the browser for everything except the checkout process.

Log in to your account to access your Control Panel. Go to Customization >> Site Settings. At the top you will see a place to Upload Your Banner.
First DELETE the default banner. Then an upload button will appear so you can upload your own banner. Click SAVE. Make sure the original SexToyFun banner is also removed from the customization box in the Site Header.
Log in to your account to access your Control Panel. Click Customization >> and click Reset (last TAB in RED). Make sure you absolutely want to do this, as you can't change it back.

We don't support sitemaps because there are too many URL's to make a sitemap useful. A sitemap is useful when there are only 50–100 pages or so. We are looking at ways around this for the future.
We are currently working on documentation for our CSS syntax. However, you can always override the CSS and put in your own colors and styles in the "CSS Override" box under Customization >> Colors & CSS at the bottom of the page. Please note this is only for those with advanced knowledge of CSS and HTML.
You can find Data Feeds and XML files in your Control Panel under Resources. Data Feeds and XML files contain all of our product feeds that are updated daily. They are used when you are building your own website from scratch. These are only useful to website programmers who would know how to implement them.
Sorry, we don't provide sample code—our libraries are far too numerous for our staff to maintain. The XML files are easily parsable in Perl using the XML::Simple CPAN module.
Use our feeds to get all the data to build your own store, then use our "Add to Cart" links so that you use our shopping cart. Remember you can customize the look of our Cart page. If you want your own shopping cart, you need to go to SexToyClub.com and use the Drop shipping Program.
Once you have created the Favicon you will need to upload it to your File Manager under Custom Content. Then click the Favicon icon to see the entire URL. You will need to cut and paste the URL into a text notepad. Then paste the code like the example below with your URL to your image into the Header, under Customization >> Site Settings >> Site Header.
Both the Custom Product Slider and the Featured Products & Slider are tools that can be found in your Control Panel under Custom Content.
The Custom Product Slider can be used to place a product slider on another site that you own to promote specific products with and works like a sliding banner of products. You can customize it with a variety of settings to suit the design and color scheme of your site. Once customized and you UPDATE THE CODE, you can copy and paste the code into the HTML section of any site. You can also use this code to paste in your Custom Front Page or Custom Pages using the HTML feature. Please refer to the Customization Guide for further instructions.
The Featured Products & Sliders can be used to place featured products and / or a custom products slider on the front page of your store. To use the Featured Products you need to pick products and place their SKU#'s in the required box. Save these products and they will appear on your front page where the default Featured Products used to be. The Featured Products Slider will place a product slider by category on your front page. Name your slider, choose and category and save. The slider will then appear on your front page. Please refer to the Customization Guide for further instructions. Note that these tools can also be used with tokens.
